Snowshoeing in Rocky Mountain National Park is a great way to experience the magic of winter in the Rockies. This tour features a starry snowshoe trek across beautiful subalpine meadows, frozen lakes, and majestic mountain peaks. A snowy evening can be a surreal experience, one that is made even more breathtaking with the chance of being caught in the glow of the moon and stars on a myriad of snow-covered lakes This ultimate winter activity caters to all skill levels and is an experience like no other. Beginners are highly encouraged to join! What to Expect: We’ll be outdoors for approximately 4 hours in wintery conditions and will have a steady incline to the top of our ascent. We will take plenty of breaks for photo ops and to interpret naturalist topics on the Park. Beginners are highly encouraged to join. Where to Meet: We’ll meet in the town of Estes Park and will shuttle to the trailhead. Detailed meeting instructions will be sent in your confirmation email. What’s included: Snowshoes, gaiters, trekking poles, entrance fees, professional snowshoe guide, water and snacks, emergency shelter, first aid kit, contingency plan. What should you bring: Please prepare for the weather conditions the day of your trip. We’ll send a detailed packing list in your confirmation email.
