Service Description

Snowshoeing is an activity that combines the excitement of being outside in the winter with the challenge of traversing through snow-covered forest trails. Snowshoeing can help you to get in shape, to get out of town, or to just enjoy the winter outdoors. This beginner's guide to snowshoeing will give you all the tips, techniques, and skills you will need to get started. Learn about the basics of snowshoeing, how to choose the right equipment, and how to make your snowshoe tour a success. What to Expect: We’ll be outdoors for 2 hours in wintery conditions and will have a steady incline to the top of our ascent. We will take plenty of breaks for photo ops and to cover additional tips and tricks into the art of snowshoeing. Where to Meet: We’ll meet at the trailhead for this course. Detailed meeting instructions will be sent in your confirmation email. What’s included: Snowshoes, gaiters, trekking poles, professional snowshoe guide, water and snacks, emergency shelter, first aid kit, contingency plan. What should you bring: Please prepare for the weather conditions the day of your trip. We’ll send a detailed packing list in your confirmation email.
