Women's Intro to Backpacking

This overnight clinic is designed for women who are eager to explore Colorado’s backcountry while building confidence in essential backpacking skills. Led by an experienced outdoor professional, this hands-on experience will prepare you for future backcountry adventures.

We’ll embark on a 6-mile hike to an established campsite, complete with a pit toilet, giving you the full backpacking experience while maintaining some comforts. Your vehicle will be just a half-mile from camp, offering peace of mind for those new to overnight trips.

No backpacking gear? No problem! We’re partnering with Outdoors Geek to offer discounted rental gear for participants. Registered guests will receive a comprehensive gear list before the clinic, along with recommendations on where to rent or purchase quality equipment.
